The components of your BPB Log Home Package are manufactured with quality materials. We suggest that you maintain that same standard of quality when selecting the building supplies to complete your BPB Log Home Package.
As part of your BPB Log Home Package you will receive assembly prints for the log wall system, roof, porch and loft framing. Your BPB Log Home can be easily erected by the do-it-your-selfer or the professional contractor.
YOUR BPB LOG HOME PACKAGE INCLUDES…

LOG WALL SYSTEM All wall logs are pre-cut to length, pre-drilled for spikes, and numbered for identification. Also included are log wall bolts, installation hardware, 12" spikes, saturated foam gasket, and polyurethane log caulk.

WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMING SYSTEM Pre-cut 4" jambs, with sills and headers.

LOFT FRAMING SYSTEM Pre-cut 4 x 8 joists, 6 x 12 girder beams, and 6 x 6 support posts. Also Included is the black metal hardware required for installation.

ROOF FRAMING SYSTEM Pre-cut 4 x 8 rafters, ridge beams, support posts and 2 x 6 rafter collar ties.

DORMER FRAMING SYSTEM (as required) Pre-cut 4 x 8 rafters, sills, headers and support posts.

PORCH FRAMING SYSTEM Pre-cut 4 x 8 rafters, sills, sill returns, headers, 6x6 foundation and support posts, 2x8 joist and 5/4 radius

TRIM LUMBER Surfaced trim lumber is included for facia, interior base log, window and door openings, board and batten for exterior gable ends, and windstop

THE LOGISTICS ABOUT BPB LOG HOMES

The log walls of your BPB Log Home will be machined milled from selected Eastern White Pine logs according to the style you have chosen.

Quality in your BPB Log Home is our main objective. Your wall logs will be individually graded to meet or exceed ASTM D-3957, which is the standard for grading wall logs.

Your BPB Log Home is pressure treated with a borate solution. This is a safe EPA approved wood preservative designed to protect your investment from wood digesting insects and decay.

BPB Log Home components are pre-cut and numbered for ease of identification and assembly.

BPB Log homes have a unique wall adjusting system to keep your log walls tight, during and after the settling process.
